  • 3 medium carrots (grated)
  • 1 small green bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 small red onion (diced)
  • 3 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp celery seeds
  • 1/2 tsp lemon pepper
  • 3/4 cup white distilled vinegar
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, layer the chopped cabbage followed by grated carrots, chopped bell pepper, diced red onion, and chopped green onions.
  2. Sprinkle garlic salt, celery seeds, and lemon pepper evenly over the layered vegetables.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine white distilled vinegar, vegetable oil, and granulated sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves and the mixture is warm.
  4. Pour the dressing over the layered vegetables and gently mix to combine.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 24 hours to allow flavors to meld before serving.
