  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the thinly sliced red onions with sumac and salt. Gently massage the mixture with your hands for 30 to 60 seconds until the onions soften and release their juices.
