  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 2 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peaches by washing, peeling, and cubing them. Toss with sugar and lemon juice; let sit for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a small saucepan, create a cornstarch slurry with water and add it to the peach mixture. Cook until thickened; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together milk, cream, and egg. Combine wet and dry ingredients to form dough.
  4. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about an hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough into an 18×12-inch rectangle and spread softened butter over it. Sprinkle peach filling evenly on top along with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Roll tightly and cut into rolls; place in baking dish to rise again for about 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  8. While baking, prepare crumb topping by mixing flour, sugars, cinnamon, and melted butter until crumbly.
  9. Sprinkle topping on warm rolls after baking.
  10. Mix cream cheese with powdered sugar and heavy cream to create glaze; drizzle over rolls before serving.
