  • 3 tablespoons tomato concentrate
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup flour

Instructions

  1. Season the stew meat with black pepper, garlic salt, and celery salt; dust lightly with flour.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sear the meat on all sides until browned.

  4. Deglaze the pan with apple vinegar; then combine with beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato concentrate.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a crockpot; add seared meat along with chopped carrots and potatoes.

  7. Stir in frozen peas during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
