  • 1 medium yellow onion (diced, about 1 cup)
  • ½ pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 4 cups (32 ounces) beef broth
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 bag (25 ounces) frozen cheese ravioli
  • ½ cup (119 g) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (113 g) mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup (40 g) romano cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup (50 g) parmesan cheese (shredded)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped), for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion, ground beef, and Italian seasoning; cook until meat is browned and onion is translucent.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and season with salt and pepper; cook for another minute.
  3. Pour in marinara sauce, beef broth, and crushed tomatoes; bring to a simmer.
  4. Add frozen ravioli and let cook for 4–6 minutes until tender.
  5. Lower heat and stir in heavy cream and cheeses until melted and creamy.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
