  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. If searing, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sear each chicken breast until golden brown.
  2. In the crock pot, mix together cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning mix, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Add the seared chicken breasts into the mixture and coat them thoroughly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks in the crock pot and stir in sour cream until well mixed.
