  • 4 salmon filets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 4 tsp water
  • 2/3 cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and water until smooth. In a saucepan, mix with orange juice, zest, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil. Simmer to thicken.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  3. Line a baking sheet with oiled foil and place salmon on it. Baste generously with teriyaki sauce.
  4. Bake for 14 minutes until flaky; baste again and broil for one minute for a charred finish.
  5. Serve over steamed rice garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
