  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup (for glaze)
  • 12 tbsp milk (as needed for glaze consistency)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter (for glaze)
  • Pinch of salt (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add egg, vanilla extract, and maple syrup; mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to wet mixture.
  4. Chill dough for at least an hour.
