  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 large Onion (diced)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 (15-ounce can) Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 (15-ounce can) Tomato Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Tomato Paste
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 12 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta (uncooked)
  • 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onion until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if necessary.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Add chicken broth and water to achieve desired consistency.
  4. Season with Italian seasoning, sea salt, and black pepper. Simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions (about 8-10 minutes) until al dente.
  6. Serve hot with dollops of ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley on top.
