- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
- 2¾ cups chicken broth
- ¾ cup half-and-half
- ½ chicken bouillon cube
- ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- ½ lb. shellbow pasta
- In a small bowl, combine dried basil, oregano, parsley, thyme, and pepper.
- In a large soup pot over medium heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and seasoning blend; sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Pour in chicken broth, half-and-half, soy sauce, and crumbled bouillon cube. Bring to a gentle boil.
- Stir in shellbow pasta and cook according to package instructions (approximately 8–10 minutes), stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to low; add remaining tablespoon of butter and gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Squeeze in lemon juice and mix well before serving.
