  • 1 lb fresh chow mein noodles
  • 2 cups thinly sliced cabbage
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 small sliced onion
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetarian stir-fry sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • ¼ cup chicken stock (or cold water)
  • ½ tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine all sauce ingredients and set aside.
  2. Boil water in a large pan and blanch chow mein noodles for about 20-30 seconds to loosen them.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté onions, cabbage, and celery for about one minute.
  4. Push veggies to one side, add noodles and sauce to the empty space, tossing everything together until coated.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
