Ingredients
Scale
10 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)
1/2 cup icing sugar
1 tsp Earl Grey Extract (or vanilla extract)
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp fine sea salt
2 tsp Earl Grey leaves (finely ground)
Instructions
In a food processor, combine room temperature butter, icing sugar, all-purpose flour, fine sea salt, and finely ground Earl Grey leaves. Pulse until a smooth dough forms.
Divide the dough into two equal parts and roll each into logs about 1½ to 2 inches in diameter. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice each log into rounds about ¼ to ½ inch thick and place them on a lined baking pan.
Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until the bottoms are just golden. Let them cool on a rack before serving.
