  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 200 grams tomato purée
  • 200 grams full-fat plain yogurt
  • 200 ml coconut cream
  • Fresh coriander (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large heavy-bottomed pot, heat ghee over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and ginger, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add ground cumin, coriander, garam masala, and seasoning to the pot; cook for another minute.
  4. Incorporate the chicken pieces and cook until they turn white on all sides.
  5. Mix in tomato purée and simmer gently for about 3 minutes.
  6. Fold in yogurt and coconut cream; reduce heat and let simmer for an additional 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
