  • 6 sliced rings of canned pineapple
  • 4 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar, divided
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk, at room temperature

Instructions

  1. Prepare cranberry sauce by cooking cranberries with sugar, orange zest, and lemon juice until they burst and create a sauce.
  2. Grease six small springform pans and line them with parchment paper.
  3. Make the glaze by combining butter, dark brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until fluffy.
