  • 2 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 9 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 11 tablespoons butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of a greased baking dish to form the crust.
  2. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream, egg, lemon juice, and vanilla; mix until well combined. Pour this over the crust.
  3. Bake for about 50 minutes until slightly set. Allow to cool.
  4. For the cookie dough topping, cream softened butter with sugars until fluffy. Stir in vanilla, flour, salt, and egg until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Dollop cookie dough on top of the cooled cheesecake layer and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
