Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 skinless boneless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (divided)
  • 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce (divided)
  • 2 teaspoons fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 bag coleslaw mix
  • 16 wonton wrappers
  • Sweet chili sauce for drizzling
  • Chopped cilantro and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, combine chicken with teriyaki sauce, 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  2. Prepare wonton shells: Preheat oven to 375°F. Shape wonton wrappers in an upside-down muffin tin and bake for 7-9 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Cook the chicken: Heat remaining sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté marinated chicken until cooked through (5-7 minutes).
  4. Mix the slaw: In a bowl, combine coleslaw mix with diced green onions. In another bowl, whisk together remaining sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and honey; pour over coleslaw mixture.
  5. Assemble tacos: Fill each wonton shell with cooked chicken and slaw mixture. Drizzle with sweet chili sauce and garnish with cilantro and sesame seeds.
  6. Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
