  • 3 quarts water
  • 1 (12-ounce) can of beef broth (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons Creole Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 large lemon, cut into wedges
  • 1 lb baby potatoes (red or gold)
  • 1 lb pre-cooked snow crab leg clusters
  • 1 lbs jumbo shrimp, deveined
  • 46 ears of sweet corn on the cob
  • 10 cloves of garlic, finely minced or pressed
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Hot sauce, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large stockpot, combine water and beef broth; bring to a boil.
  2. Add Cajun seasoning, Old Bay seasoning, onion slices, and lemon wedges. Boil for about 15 minutes.
  3. Add sliced sausage and baby potatoes; cook for an additional 15-20 minutes until potatoes are fork-tender.
  4. Gently add snow crab clusters, shrimp, and corn; continue boiling for another 5-7 minutes until shrimp are pink.
  5. For the garlic butter sauce, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat with minced garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, Creole seasoning, smoked paprika, and hot sauce; stir until combined.
  6. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Carefully transfer boiled ingredients onto the sheet and drizzle with garlic butter sauce before serving.
