  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 1 cup pineapple juice (divided)
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon ground clove
  • ½ teaspoon allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a deep baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, combine honey and half of the pineapple juice. Place the spiral chicken in the prepared dish and pour the honey mixture over it, ensuring it seeps into each slice.
  3. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 45 minutes.
  4. To make the glaze, combine juices from the dish with remaining pineapple juice, brown sugar, granulated sugar, garlic powder, paprika, ground clove, allspice, and seasoned salt in a pot over medium heat. Stir until combined.
  5. Simmer the glaze for about 15-20 minutes until thickened.
  6. Brush the glaze over the chicken and return it to the oven uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.
