  • 1 ½ lb tilapia or white fish (mahi mahi, cod)
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp cracked pepper
  • 2½ cups cole slaw mix
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ⅓ cup chopped cilantro
  • ½ tsp sugar (optional)
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp cracked pepper
  • Corn or flour tortillas
  • Extra lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix spices (chili powder, oregano, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, onion powder, cumin, salt, pepper) in a bowl.
  3. Pat fish dry and coat with olive oil and spice mixture.
  4. Place fish in the air fryer basket and cook for 8–10 minutes until flaky and cooked through (internal temperature of 145°F).
  5. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, lime juice, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, salt, and pepper to make the slaw.
  6. Warm tortillas in the microwave or skillet.
  7. Assemble tacos by placing fish in tortillas and topping with cilantro lime slaw.
