  • 450g / 1lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 34 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  • sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the light soy sauce and cornstarch. Toss the shrimp to coat evenly.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the coated shrimp to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  4. Pour in honey and optional chili flakes; toss gently to coat. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
